ARPA Grant Funding Opportunities for Arkansas Medicaid Providers

ARPA Grant Funding Opportunities for Arkansas Medicaid Providers

Background

The Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) is excited to announce the selection of winning bids for four of the six grant opportunities made available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), in conjunction with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Arkansas Legislature, and the Arkansas Governor’s office. These grants will fund the construction and expansion of infrastructure across the state that supports needed Medicaid services in community-based settings. The detailed list of awardees will be made available soon. We appreciate the interest and participation from all applicants in this critical funding effort to complete the continuum of care.

The following grant opportunities are now closed, and bidders have been contacted by DHS with the results of their applications.

  • Community Reintegration for Children
  • Adult Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Facilities
  • Supported Housing Units for Young Adults
  • Therapeutic Communities for Adults with I/DD

Two of the grant opportunities will be rebid due to lack of clarity around provider requirements in the original grant description. If you applied for either one of these grants, your previous application will not be considered automatically, so we encourage you to review and update it as necessary.

The following grant opportunities will reopen for applications on July 18th and will close on August 9th:

  • Youth Substance Abuse Residential Treatment Facilities ($2 million)
  • Supported Housing Units for Adults ($3 million)
