Don’t risk losing your Medicaid coverage – Update your contact information and get ready to renew now!
What To Know
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government temporarily stopped some Medicaid requirements and conditions. This was done to help keep people with Medicaid from losing their health coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Arkansas will soon be required to review Medicaid eligibility for people whose coverage was extended due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. This means that many Medicaid clients like you may lose their coverage if they don’t take simple steps now.
We’re working with community partners, advocates, and clients to make sure eligible Arkansans keep getting high quality health care coverage.
We need your help to meet this goal.
The first step in the process is making sure Arkansas Medicaid has up-to-date contact information for clients. We need your up-to-date mailing address, phone number, and email address to make sure you receive important paperwork.
What To Do
It’s easy – all you need to do right now is update your contact information.
Make sure Arkansas Medicaid has your current mailing address, phone number, and email. This way, we can contact you about your Medicaid, ARHOME, or ARKids coverage, if we need to. You can update your information on the phone, online, or in-person.
Here’s how to update your contact information:
- Call the Update Arkansas hotline at 1-844-872-2660
- Go online at access.arkansas.gov
- Visit your local DHS county office to update their information (find your local office here)
