Save AR Students Rally at Capitol Kicks Off Week Focused on Preventing Substance Misuse

What: Save AR Students Spring 2022 Kickoff Rally

When: Monday, April 25, 2022, at 9 a.m.

Where: Arkansas State Capitol, 500 Woodlane Street, Little Rock

Join U.S. Representative French Hill and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Marching M4 Band on the steps of the State Capitol on April 25 to help end substance misuse for college students in Arkansas. The event will kick off Save AR Students week in Arkansas, which engages college students, their families, and collegiate faculty and administration to learn how to prevent substance misuse in college communities. The Arkansas Department of Human Services’ Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services (DAABHS) sponsors this event.

Speakers on Monday will include:

• U.S. Representative French Hill
• Attorney General Leslie Rutledge
• Arkansas State Drug Director Kirk Lane
• DAABHS Deputy Director Patricia Gann

Note: If it rains on Monday, the event will be moved inside to the Capitol Rotunda.
