The Office of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (OSAMH) oversees prevention, treatment and recovery-focused programs and grants that help people with substance use disorders and mental health illnesses get the right care at the right time to meet their needs. The office also oversees the State Hospital and the forensic evaluation system.
