Acute Care Providers: Rapid, Stabilizing Support When It’s Needed Most

When a young person is experiencing a mental health or behavioral health crisis, immediate and intensive intervention can make all the difference. The Division of Youth Services (DYS) works with acute care facilities across Arkansas that provide short-term, clinically focused treatment to stabilize youth and guide them toward longer-term care options — without requiring state custody.

If your facility provides acute psychiatric or behavioral health services for youth and is not yet listed, we welcome the opportunity to connect. DYS is actively seeking partnerships with qualified providers who can deliver critical care during life’s most challenging moments.

For families, educators, medical professionals, and others seeking help — if you know of a provider offering youth acute care services in Arkansas that isn’t on this list, please let us know. Every connection matters, and your recommendation could bring stability to a youth in crisis.

Let’s strengthen the emergency safety net for Arkansas youth — together.

🏥 Acute Care Facilities

Soon you’ll be able to explore facilities that offer short-term, intensive support for youth in crisis — including mental health stabilization and behavioral care.
