Stephanie Barker, BA, PRS, NCPRSS, holds a BA in Criminal Justice and is the Program Manager for the Northeast Arkansas Mental Health and Veterans Specialty Courts. Stephanie is also a Peer Support Supervisor and Nationally Certified Peer Specialist. She works with Arisa Health in Jonesboro, AR, and is a strong advocate for ending the stigma against people struggling with Mental Illness and Addiction. As a passionate advocate for recovery and mental health, Stephanie brings both professional expertise and lived experience, proudly celebrating 12 years of continued sobriety from drugs and alcohol. Her work is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and a deep commitment to helping others navigate their own paths to healing.

Dangie Casper is a Peer Recovery Supervisor and advocate dedicated to helping individuals build meaningful, lasting recovery. Drawing on lived experience and professional expertise, she empowers peers to set goals, grow in their roles, and make a real impact in their communities. As a statewide Trainer of Trainers in Arkansas, Dangie specializes in peer support, justice-involved services, and Narcan administration. She collaborates with courts, healthcare providers, and community leaders to strengthen recovery systems and expand opportunities for peer professionals. With years of sustained recovery and a passion for leadership, Dangie is committed to mentoring the next generation of peer specialists creating pathways for others to turn their experience into purpose.

Cassie Cooper is a person in long-term recovery for nine years. Her pathway is faith based, but she support all pathways. She has worked in a hospital setting, in an RCO, and currently works in a court setting. Cassie is a mother of two daughters and one son who has passed away. She has been up Peer Supervisor for a year and a half and works for St. Bernard‘s mental health in Jonesboro, Arkansas. My supervision times are Monday and Tuesday afternoon from 5:30 to 6:30. I also in the cofounder of Ethan’s House Ministry in Newport, Arkansas.

Casey Copeland is the Director of Recovery Services for the State of Arkansas and a Peer Support Peer Supervisor. Living in long-term recovery from Substance Use Disorder since 2017, Casey began his path as a Peer Support Specialist, known for his genuine empathy and knack for connecting with people battling substance use and mental health challenges. Casey has worn many hats over the years, including Director of Arkansas Peers Achieving Recovery Together (APART), Director of Rock of Hope transitional houses, co-founder and president of The Copeland Foundation (TCF), and Chairman of the Arkansas Peer Advisory Committee (APAC). Now, as the Director of Peer Services for the State of Arkansas, Casey has played a key role in creating, managing, and rolling out numerous programs statewide.

Megan Copeland, NCPRSS, is a Peer Recovery Supervisor and serves as Lead Peer and Project Manager for the Arkansas Behavioral Health Integration Network (ABHIN). Her work focuses on building practical, effective recovery support services and strengthening how peer support is integrated across systems in Arkansas. She previously served as Project Director for the Arkansas Mobile Opioid Response (ARMOR), a mobile health clinic delivering integrated care across Arkansas, including primary care, medication-assisted treatment, mental health services, and peer support. Megan offers Peer Recovery Supervision twice weekly on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM and Fridays at 12:00 PM. Her sessions are designed to be both structured and supportive, with a focus on helping peers problem-solve, build skills, and continue growing in their role.

Julio Garcia has 38 years of MHD/SUD lived experience and 12 years of recovery from spiritual, sexual, physical, verbal, and mental abuse. He misused substances since the age of 16 and was incarcerated at the age of 19 where he learned the art of organized criminal behavior. Julio tried the normal life by getting married and having kids, but the SUD was strong even after 6 years of in prison. By the grace of God, Julio found a person in recovery in Bella Vista, AR and have been clean, sober, and saved since 2013. He is passionate that Peer work strengthens my sobriety, spirituality, and community in ways he would never have imagined. If you would like to join Julio’s Team of Sustainable Supervisees, he offers 3 and requires 1 opportunity per week for 1 hour supervisions, Mondays at Lunch, Thursday evenings at 6pm, and Friday mornings from 9-10am. Lynette Hanley has been in peer support for 5 years. She has worked for the sheriff’s office for over 4 years and has worked in a court setting. Currently, she works for Transitions Counseling for the last year. Lynette conducts Zoom supervisions on Wednesdays at 4pm and Fridays at 10am. If her supervisees are in need of individual supervision is needed, they are free to reach out and are accommodated.

Greg Hogan has been a peer supervisor for 4 years, has been in recovery for over 40 years, and has been working in recovery for 38 years. He has a faith-based, non-profit outpatient office in Conway, AR where he works with people struggling with SUD and inner healing so that each person who desires help can get the help they need on a daily basis. He has also worked with the Faulkner Co. Jail as a chaplain and misdemeanor, felony, and juvenile probation offices. Greg has taken my services into treatment centers around central Arkansas. His supervision hours are Thursdays at 4 o’clock on Zoom and arrangements can be made for one-on-one supervision as well.

Samantha Johnson, LSW, PRS, NCPRSS is a Licensed Social Worker and Peer Recovery Supervisor with 11 years of long-term sobriety and over five years of peer recovery experience, including three years in supervision. She has worked in medical, treatment, and mental health settings, providing a well-rounded understanding of recovery support across systems of care. Samantha served three years on the Arkansas Peer Advisory Committee and was honored with the Medical Setting Peer Recovery Award two consecutive years, now renamed the Samantha Johnson Medical Peer Recovery Award. She currently works with Hospice Home Care and UAMS, serving Southeast Arkansas. Samantha offers weekly group supervision on Sundays at 4:00pm and Wednesdays at 7:00pm, as well as individual supervision and is committed to ethical peer practice, accountability, advocacy, compassion, and developing strong peer professionals.

Individual supervision is available with flexible scheduling.

Desi Sims is a dedicated Peer Recovery Supervisor with over 25 years of personal recovery and extensive experience in recovery services, peer supervision, ministry, advocacy, and organizational leadership. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, shaping a holistic, trauma-informed, person-centered, and spiritually grounded approach to peer support. Desi serves as the Peer Recovery Supervisor at NEA Divine Intervention in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he provides guidance, support, and accountability to peer specialists while helping oversee daily operations. His supervision focuses on ethics, documentation, professional growth, healthy boundaries, self-care, and the core values of peer support. Group supervision is offered by Zoom every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. In-person group supervision is held every Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Individual sessions are available by appointment only and scheduled as needed.
