The Arkansas Department of Human Services is establishing a Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) to advise the agency on matters related to Medicaid program administration.
The committee will include representation from
- State or local consumer advocacy groups
- Clinical providers or administrators who are familiar with the health and social needs of Medicaid beneficiaries and with the resources available and required for their care. This includes providers or administrators of primary care, specialty care, and long-term care.
- Managed care organizations
- Members of the Medicaid Client Voice Council
- Other state agencies serving Medicaid beneficiaries
Specific representation is required from pediatricians, advocacy groups, aging, and disability providers.
Apply to join the MAC by filling out the form below. Applications are due by April 30, 2025, for the first convening, which is expected to occur in July.
