As part of a transition to a new vendor managing the state’s SNAP EBT cards, the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) is introducing a new app that gives you additional tools to securely manage your SNAP benefits and help protect your account from scammers.

The ebtEDGE New app is free, and it complements the AR SNAP Companion app, a separate DHS app that helps identify SNAP eligible food items. AR SNAP Companion is not affected by this change, and it will continue to be available for use and download. The ebtEDGE New app replaces the ConnectEBT app, which is now retired for Arkansas users.

The app can be downloaded on Android and Apple devices by searching for “ebtEDGE New” in the app store, or by using the QR codes below.
