Foster Family of the Year Area 5 Winner

Calvin and Hailey Manion – Area 5 Foster Family of the Year
Conway, Arkansas

It started small – just a few animals in need. Calvin and Hailey Manion knew they could make a difference in their community by becoming a safe haven for animals who needed a safe place to call home. But they soon realized that their desire and ability to protect, love, and support was needed even more by hurting children and families.

So in addition to chickens, pigs, an earless donkey, and a duck named Yeti Spaghetti, the Manion home is also full of children who need them. From the outside looking in, the Manion’s farm isn’t just full – it overflows. And you’d be right…it overflows with laughter, learning, love, and compassion.

In the Manion home, kids are free to just be kids – they’re given the space to grow, heal, and thrive. Their house is a place of comfort—not just for children and animals, but for anyone who steps inside. With hand-painted murals and colorful walls, you can’t help but feel joy the moment you enter.

Calvin and Hailey have a beautiful ability to help children process complicated emotions while also keeping the lines of communication and support open with biological families.

When challenges arise, they conquer. And when space gets tight, Calvin and Hailey simply make a little more room, ensuring every child has a place to rest, feel safe, and truly belong.

Congratulations, Calvin and Hailey, our Area 5 Foster Family of the Year!
