Overview
Process indicators or "best practices" for nursing homes are being outlined through a cooperative effort of:
- Arkansas Health Care Association
- University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
- Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care
- Office of Long Term Care
The process indicators form a resource to aid facilities in caring for residents. They are intended to shift the focus of facilities from meeting regulatory requirements to identifying and meeting residents' needs for care. Subjects include Behavior Management and Antipsychotic Medication, Restraints, and Falls.
The file piall.zip contains all process indicator materials. If you wish to download specific process indicators, separate files are also provided below.
