Grants Available!
AmeriCorps programs address disaster services, education, clean energy, healthy futures, economic opportunity, disaster preparedness, and veterans and military families, as defined by a local sponsoring organization. AmeriCorps programs recruit and place members in direct service to their community to fulfill these initiatives. Applications will be accepted for grants in the 2013-2014 Arkansas state AmeriCorps formula funding cycle. Successful applicants will be expected to establish programs and begin recruiting members to serve in programs beginning September 1 or October 1, 2013 for up to a one year period. Applications must be entered in eGrants system to be accepted. Original full application with budget and 16 copies are due no later than 12 p.m. (noon) Friday, March 29, 2013. Application instructions, NOFO, and additional information are available here. Contact Beverly Moody with any questions at 501-682-7540.
